I want to start this blog post by saying just how overwhelmed I am by the responses that I’ve gotten on my last few posts – whether you’ve appeared from Instagram (my blog now has an Instagram page, by the way @kathryn_blogs so go and check that out/follow along if you want to stay super up to date!), are a new follower (hey!/if you’re not, why not hit ‘follow’?) or have been here for a while now (hey! again!), thank you!
I thought today that I’d do a little music-based post for you. My “things my ears are currently appreciating” posts seem to go down fairly well with you all, but today I’m taking a slightly different approach. I’m going to talk about the music that relaxes me. The music that’s keeping me calm during the already-hectic school year (it’s only day 3, it’s bound to get worse isn’t it..). Enjoy!
Spotify is my best friend for things like this. I type in ‘relax’ or ‘chill’ or ‘yoga’ or ‘zen’ and a multitude of playlists appear. Here are a few of my favorites that I’ve been using as background noise while I work, or to chill out before bed while I read Meditations on Intention and Being by Rolf Gates (this is definitely helping me to reach goal number 1 of my 22 for 22).
