Just a forewarning, the next few Blogmas posts are definitely more fashion related than usual… But, seeing as I did a capsule wardrobe rotation about 10 days ago, I thought I’d show you a few items that have made their way back into my wardrobe; the more winter and festive appropriate items, if you will. I’ve picked 5 to show you and only 1 item is new. I’m getting good at this capsule stuff, if I do say so myself!
First up, let’s have a little gander at two of the coziest sweaters that I own. The chunky roll neck sweaters that keep me warm when the temperatures drop. I picked these both up last year on Black Friday, I believe. A forrest green long-line (it finishes just past my bum) sweater from H&M and a gray dip hem sweater which is quite honestly the softest and comfiest sweater I own. That one is from Express, I think. I wear these sweaters with pretty much everything and anything; little skirts and thick tights when I’m teaching, jeans or leggings when I’m with friends, over my PJs at home – literally any time, any place!
Next comes the Christmas sweater that I mentioned in yesterday’s post – the only new item in today blog post. But let’s just look at it in all its glory once again…
Finally are the sparkly bits. Here I’ve got a skirt and fancy tank top (it’s not just a tank top, you know..?). The skirt is honestly one of my favorite pieces of festive attire – I wore it to almost all of my Christmas parties last year. I picked it up in a sale last year from Forever 21 and I haven’t looked back since! Finally is this cute little sequined, racer back tank top. I’m pretty certain it’s been in almost every capsule wardrobe rotation since I’ve started and the only time it’s not been in there is because people were starting to question if I ever washed it.. I love it! It really flatters my figure, body shape, coloring, just everything. It looks great on its own, layered under a sweater, with a sparkly skirt, with plain black jeans. I literally cannot go wrong with this and I frigging love it.
